Our mission to enhance emergency care and resuscitation training through evidence-based education — goes hand in hand with a responsibility to minimise our environmental footprint.
We recognise that the healthcare and training sector must lead by example in reducing emissions, promoting sustainability, and embedding low-carbon practices in everyday operations.
Carbon Reduction Initiatives
Operational Energy:

Governance and Reporting
RSUK’s Head of Clinical Governance, Andrew Thurgood, oversees environmental management and annual review of carbon reduction performance.
Progress is monitored through annual emissions reporting, integration of sustainability objectives into RSUK’s governance framework, and transparent publication of updates via the RSUK website.
Declaration and Approval
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.
